Just seven more days....
Thank you Randall for setting this up. It's so exciting to have a blog all can contribute to. When I went to India, we more or less had a blog, a little one that folks could immediately write and post to us and the other was my ramblings that I e-mailed to a friend each night....with the worry that the power could fail at any minute with India's rolling blackouts.

Can you spell EXCITED? It seems so long ago that I first started on this venture in my life. Now it is a week away and I feel I have so much more to do! Make the packing list, make sure the bills are paid, exchange dollars for euros, pack and unpack 3 times to lighten my luggage. The list goes on. Aside from that, I am so grateful for this experience. I'm looking forward to the ventures that lie ahead. Thanks to the selection committee for choosing me to be part of this team, to Donna for her leadership, to my team for their collective contributions, to Jackie for suggesting this opportunity to me, to the Chestnut Ridge Rotary Club for sponsoring me, to DG Mary and Ivar for the Bon Voyage dinner and to my family & friends for their support. See I could have never been an actress. My acceptance speech would be too long and they would start playing the music and cut me off:) For now, Au Revoir.
